Ministers of Religion Vacancies

We have a number of Ministers of Religion vacancies currently.

  • 2  Ministers of Congregational Care and Spiritual Wellbeing
  • 1 Minister of religion & African Contemporary Worship & Wellbeing Director
  • 1 Minister of Religion & Wellbeing Education Director
  • 1 Youth Minister , Health & Wellbeing  Coordinator with  with African Contemporary Music  Ministry.

Location: South East London

Type:  Full-time

Salary: Up to £28,000 a year

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in both Igbo and English (spoken and written).
  • Ordained minister or extensive experience in church leadership and pastoral ministry.
  • Strong background in African contemporary worship, including knowledge of traditional and modern African gospel music.
  • Experience in spiritual counselling, mentoring, and community outreach.
  • Ability to plan and lead wellbeing initiatives that align with Christian faith and cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A deep commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of the church.

Ministers of Congregational Care and Spiritual Wellbeing (2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance to members.
  • Offer counselling, support, and prayer ministry.
  • Organize and lead prayer meetings, Bible study sessions, and discipleship programs.
  • Lead discipleship and small group ministries.
  • Assist in fostering a culture of love, healing, and unity within the church.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in worship leadership with expertise in African contemporary music.
  • Ability to lead and mentor worship teams.
  • A passion for spiritual renewal and creative worship.

Ministers of Youth, Health & Wellbeing Coordinator with African Contemporary Music Ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead youth and health-focused ministries with an emphasis on holistic well-being.
  • Musical ability (playing instruments such as drums, keyboard, or traditional African instruments) is an advantage.
  • Background in holistic wellbeing, mental health, or community support services.
  • Experience in organising large worship gatherings or conferences.
  • Develop programs that address spiritual, physical, and emotional health.
  • Engage young people through African contemporary music and worship.
  • Organise events, outreach, and discipleship programs for youth.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in youth ministry, health initiatives, and worship leadership.
  • Passion for mentoring young people and promoting holistic well-being
  • Strong musical abilities and knowledge of African contemporary music.
